Personally, I really like the vibe here. After walking my dog at Campbell Park just a block up, grabbing a beer at this spot has become part of my routine. Their Cold Fire IPA has a lager-like feel—quite light—but if an IPA ends up awkwardly delivering the bitterness of hops without clarity, then I’d rather have this kind of lager-style IPA. That said, I still prefer Double or Triple IPAs. The place collaborates with food trucks, which adds a lively energy to the atmosphere. I usually stop by on Wednesdays specifically for the pizza truck that only shows up then. The pizza leans toward authentic, and I especially like the Amalfi pizza. It’s topped only with anchovies and tomato sauce, so it’s definitely a love-it-or-hate-it kind of flavor—but I’m a fan. I’d recommend ordering one of the more approachable pizzas as Marguerite and pairing it with a beer. I’ve been coming here quite often lately ,,,,

In my view, Coldfire has the best beer in town (I know thats a big statement considering the number of breweries available!). They excel at nearly every single beer they make. I loved their old tap room, as did many of us locals. The interior and design of the new pub house is beautifully produced. I like the different sections, whether youre here for dinner or just having a flight after work. As much as it saddens me to say, the kitchen is mediocre. Ive tried a few different items, from their buffalo wings to foccaccia tartine. My husband has also ordered a few different items, happy hour and regular dinner. I am unsure who is in charge of the pricing ratio to serving size, but the cost is certainly not worth what you are served. The bratwurst was slightly larger than a hotlink, and with an ice cream scooped amount of potato salad, you pay $16?!?! I know its extremely difficult to own and operate a restaurant nowadays, but many of their customers are also having to tighten our wallets. I cant justify eating a meal here nor recommending it to friends. Its been really disappointing. I would skip the dinner and stick to the beer with maybe an app to share with your table.

I don't think I've ever written a review, ever. But our experience was so expensive and sub-par, I felt compelled to. To start with, when you enter the place there is no clear instruction as to the fact that there is a distinction between seating areas. There's just a long line of people at the order counter and they then tell you to take any seat on the west side of the restaurant. There was no seating available, so after saying such, we were told we could wait for the host to see if there was seating available in the east side of the restaurant. ok. weird and confusing but we did get a table. We paid $19 for a burger that was at best, of McDonald's quality and $9 for the "el nacho hot dog" that I could've made better at a 7-11. No exaggeration. Beer, as always, was good. I hope this place sorts out their confused seating and ordering situation and improves the food quality. I'm willing to try again after a year or so when they (hopefully) get their feet under them.

Tried Coldfire the other night. The food was good but they don't serve diet soft drinks. That's fine, it's a brewery. So I asked for iced tea. Denied. I asked if they had hot tea and they said yes. They were wrong. What they had was lukewarm tea in a cup so small that the tea bag would not even fit into it without hitting the sides. I asked if they could bring me a pitcher of hot water. Denied. So I asked if they could find a larger cup or glass. Denied. When the bill came it appears that the pre-calculated tips were inflated.

Beautiful venue! Amazing selection of drinks and food, for a great price. You can’t go wrong. Amazing service as well! A gorgeous courtyard will be here in the spring! 😍
