Really nice clean hotel with updated facilities. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The pool is a little small, but the hot tub is a nice size. Each room has its own set of workout equipment. An exercise ball, resistance bands, and yoga mat. They also have a streaming service on the tv with workouts. The shower is spacious and they offer quality soaps.
Staff extremely friendly! Check in was a breeze. Room was well appointed and clean. Photo is the view from our room. Close to downtown, food, and bars galore. Lots of choices for food delivery. Breakfast we paid for was not really available as restaurant was in soft opening mode.
We have stayed here 4 times. I love this hotel! The room is a good size, the beds are really comfy, and the toiletries are great. For the location, amenities, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff, you would expect to pay a lot more. The costs are so reasonable. We have stayed pre and during the pandemic. Aside from the restaurant being closed, there has been no degradation in quality. My family (2 adults, 2 young kids) will always stay here whenever in the area. *We did not partake in any of the wellness activities, other than swimming. So I cannot comment on any of that.
I hate to complain and I'm sure that it's a very nice hotel. However, I strongly select a room with a bathtub. The web site tauts "soaker tubs" which they do not have. In fact, only s few rooms have a bath at all. And, the one I got had only a shower. Nice shower, but... Also, every time I'd leave the room and come back, it had the aroma of stale beer. I searched for the source, unsuccessfully. Maybe it's a cleaning product.
Not bad. Staff was nice. Facilities weren’t bad, Some kids in the pool were allowed to roam mask-less. Not sure I’d return. I’d ask the GM to benchmark the Hyatt Place down the street. It’s a totally different level of professionalism with a warmer vibe for a comparable room rate. They also have an excellent pool reservation system during Covid.
