This is a good place for a slice of pizza with or without a beer or cider. It's a great addition to campus. Pizza by the slice is good here, and reasonably prompt, but this is not the same high end food you get in the Falling Sky brew pub downtown (also not as expensive). It's well suited to its location in the student union. Contrary to what another reviewer wrote, I have always enjoyed friendly service at Falling Sky.
Gave a 5 minute warning to leave before they closed. No loud music, no warning before. Just hug your beer and GTFO, folks.
Some real stuck up comments over some really delicious NY style pizza. The cosmos says it tastes like home, like the Jersey boardwalk. I tried the veggie one too, and it was delicious. Staff was awesome and I love the atmosphere. Don't let picky/stuck up reviews push you away. This place is great.
I was told they use the same pizza cutter to cut the vegan pizza as they do to cut the meat pizzas, meaning the vegan pizza is cross contaminated with meat. The front staff didn't care at all when I mentioned this. In Eugene Oregon of all places. Definitely avoiding this place. Even if you're not vegan you should care that the restaurant doesn't care about serving vegan customers pizza with meat in it that they didn't know about. Response to the owner's response: I've asked several different employees on different days and they all say they use the same pizza cutter for all the pizzas and dont have a seperate cutter that they only use for vegan pizza. Thus cross contamination. Either your entire staff has no idea what they're talking about, even though they themselves are the ones that handle the cutters, or you're lying to try to save face on an already abysmally-reviewed restaurant. Its obvious which one it is.
Love hitting this pub on campus between courses. Pizza by the slice is relatively affordable and they have locally brewed craft beers (as well as a few wines and ciders at any given time). A pint and a slice will run you around $10.
