Not a bad place at all. Mostly family style, but a small bar area with video machines. Only four beers on tap, and about 12 bottles, and a limited wine and liquor selection. It has outdoor seating. The bbq chicken pizza was pretty good all around. I’d come back here
Used to come here as a teenager after a cold/wet journey fishing on the Mackenzie River- so my memory serves as some of the best pizza you can get. Stopped by there today after a long drive back from the mountains. The interior is cool- with a mishmash of a 9ft bigfoot and a separate side room with Simpson's nostalgia. Combine that with logging paraphernalia and another separate bar area and it makes for a cozy yet quirky atmosphere. I already know the pizza there is top notch so this time decided to go for the broasted chicken and some jalapeno poppers. Homemade deliciousness. Chicken was crispy, juicy and well seasoned. Poppers were homemade with 2 kinds of cheese. Accompanied by some thin fried potato rounds that were great. This place is a must stop. Super nice staff, great food, and very welcoming. Highly recommend!
Two stars instead of one because I really liked the creepy stuffed sasquatch, Simpson's stuff, and overall kitschy vibe. However, there were a lot of issues that will probably prevent me from returning. Like many other reviewers have stated, the customer service is terribly incompetent, bordering on outright rude. No masks or gloves being worn by any employees, just an overall lack of care. The food was about twice as expensive as it should be for the quality, but the location would be great for hussling tourists, so makes sense. Pizza was passably tasty, however, the "Potato Slices" were so bad it was upsetting. For about five bucks, I was expecting some variation of fried potatoes, left wondering because they were not described at all on the website. What I got were sad, soggy, unseasoned "Potato Slices" which were presumably baked in an oven. The business is for sale, which explains a lot. I would just stay away until there's a new, more motivated owner.
Order4 pizzas to take home and was shocked. Not in a good way the pizzas had a old taste to them and the felt like nothing was fresh. The garlic was these huge chunks of garlic with the peel on and the chicken was not roasted like we have hoped. Overall felt like the food handling and poor choice of ingredients made for a overall bad pizza.
Love their Broasted Chicken so much that I've never tried their Pizza...
