Second update: I went in just as the pandemic was starting and places adjusting, while it was still open for dine in. I went straight to the bar and ordered food and a great drink. This was a far better experience. I raise this place a star. Update: went in after they moved across street. The waitress was uninformed about the menu and the place was empty. Just felt claustrophobic and weird. Not welcoming, which is in contrast to about a year ago as you can see what I wrote: I always feel welcome here and the presentation and skill is superb. Yummy! My only thing... sometimes I wish they had regular sushi rice but this makes them memorable at the same time. The bar makes good drinks. They do unique things and seem to keep growing and getting more interesting since first opening. Go pure!
So glad Sushi Pure is open for take out. We just grabbed a Chef's Omakase and it was filled with so much deliciousness from the sea. Very happy!
This place had amazing, high quality, fresh, sushi and hand rolls. They're miso soup is also amazing. Along with fresh, salted, edamame. I recommend the delicate selection of fish called the pepperfin. They're mango lemonade is also really good tasting. They also have a wide variety of wines along with a full cocktail bar, and two stories of seating.
Sushi Not So Pure...This is the worst sushi I've ever had...my spicy tuna roll was so SALTY it was unedible...as was my inside out roll...SALTY... Won't be coming here ever again....the decor is like pirates of the Caribbean meets Mothra...it looks like it used be Salty Sam's Steak House...this place is a JOKE.
I have ordered lots of sushi and this place had (by far)the worst sushi (for the price) I have ever eaten. [Sushi Land in Potland is better than this place] We ordered food for the FIRST time a couple of days ago, spent 75$ and we were not pleased with their quality... The Purple Rice instead of white rice, was not good at all. I am not even sure if u can substitute for regular rice bc the guy on the phone did not tell us everything was purple! but even if our order had regular rice, it would not have been good. Won't be going back. If u decide togo here, hopefully u have a better experience.
