Decent taco place in Eugene. The tacos are a little pricey and the quality and taste is used to be more worth it for the occasional night out. The margaritas are tasty and made fairly strong. The line can get out the door during peak hours so I recommend going in the off hours. The chili is good too!
Tacos were AH..MAZING
The food is still delicious as usual. But the management and staff need to get a better system for take out. There is only one line and no signage or direction about how to get your online order. I have gotten take out here at least 6 times since the pandemic started. It has always been a hassle and a waste of time waiting in line with others that are there that have not ordered food yet. Meanwhile my food is just sitting on the counter getting cold. The worst was last night at 5pm. I had ordered my food on Toast at 4:30pm. They weren’t that busy and only had three people in line ahead of me. The gentleman directly in front had also ordered online and was obviously confused why we had to wait with others that hadn’t even ordered yet. I told him this is how it’s always been since the pandemic and that it’s annoying. Usually a staff member comes out every couple of minutes and asks if you need a menu or ordered online. But last night me and this other gentleman waited ten minutes before his turn was finally up. Then I was next. For some reason two groups thought they could just cut in front of me (a couple and a single woman) because they ordered online. I got their attention and told them I ordered online too. They ignored me which was rude. After another 5 minutes of waiting I finally got the attention of a staff member and told them I ordered my food 30 minutes ago online and the confusion of the single line was causing people to cut in front. She gave no apology or any sign that there was a problem. My point is: Tacovore management needs to at the very least have a sign that says “go to the counter for online orders” or have a separate line for picking up online orders. It’s causing confusion and an unpleasant experience with your customers. You either wait online with everyone else that hasn’t ordered yet while your food gets cold or you look like a jerk cutting in-line. Be better Tacovore. I expect a response that this was seen and action taken. I will then change my review to 5 stars. Edit: Thanks for responding. This is one of my favorite places to eat. I look forward to having a better experience with my take out order in the near future.
The tacos are delicious and filling. A little overpriced. I love their Jalapeño Pinapple Sauce, tastes amazing with the cod taco. As for the bean and cheese taco, so simple yet so flavorful. The cashiers are always friendly and talkative despite often being busy. Their pricing for chips and guacamole is ridiculous though.
Great place! Can’t wait to be able to sit inside and enjoy all those beautifully decorated walls. Loved the tacos and Margaritas too! Also the tomatillo and pineapple sauces are 🔥
