Good crab-encrusted halibut with a sweet chili sauce and Yukon potatoes. Only complaint is my side salad was over-dressed. Now I know to ask for the dressing on the side. Crab cakes were best we've had!! Great texture and mouth feel. My husband enjoyed his seafood pasta with marinara sauce. The dessert cakes were good and made in a nearby bakery. The chocolate was dense and a little bittersweet. My husband liked it but it was a little dry for me. I had the tres leches which was nicely moist. Our waitress was absolutely delightful and made the experience a lovely one. The hostess was curt and placed us in a table with no ambiance. It was solo corner table by the ramp where people were standing in line and a cart for dirty dishes. It seems that you would have the best experience with a reservation. I would have liked to have been on the patio by the river. We will come back because overall it was a great restaurant.
Best restaurant in town with ambiance to match. Everything on the menu is a delicacy and the hand crafted cocktails are worth every penny. Nice to sit on the patio facing the river for a romantic night out and they even have heaters to keep you toasty. I can't more highly recommend!
Charming little restaurant at the waters edge. Delightful staff offering excellent suggestions. Deliciously messy cajun cod burger had just the right amount of spice; highly recommended. Sweet potato fries were the best. A yummy triple layer berry cake slice topped it off. Definitely worth the price.
We've been twice now during our 10 day visit, and will return most days. We have had 1 of the 4 patio tables open by the river. (Covid) What a beautiful view. The food was fantastic and the prices very reasonable. The staff was very warm and friendly. Here's hoping they can stay open. Though we couldn't go inside more than to walk to the bathroom, they have done an excellent job renovating an old train depot to make it charming and warm.
Our waitress was wonderful, she was very knowledgeable and nice. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. We came here on a whim as it was supposed to be our last night in town. While our waitress was lovely one of the women working there loudly accosted her for forgetting silverware and just had a horrible attitude while giving us some of our dishes. Really shouldn't accost your coworkers in earshot of customers, that's extremely unprofessional and just plain rude. My friend ordered the special of the day which was the salmon with crab on top. During the meal she remarked it was dry and overcooked - and the meal didn't taste so fresh. She woke up around 2 or 3 am today with fairly bad food poisoning. Shes still sick now 12 hrs later and we had to postpone our flight back and extend our car and lodging an extra day due to the severity. I would reccomend against ordering the crab or salmon in the week following the date of this review. Either its past its expiry date or they showed negligence in preparing it for consumption. All in all, not worth the price of the meal.
